Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico reported that Estonia did not let a peculiar Slovak flight to Russia over its territory. Due to the obstacle, an alternate way is sought.
"Estonia told us a fewer minutes ago that she would not let us to fly over her territory," Fico said in a video message published on the social network Facebook.
He stated that Estonia had made specified a decision despite the fact that Slovakia had a valid licence to usage its airspace.
"Of course, this is an intentional effort to disrupt my visit to Moscow on the occasion of the authoritative celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the end of planet War II," said the Slovak Prime Minister.
According to him, due to Estonia's decision, he will not be able to participate in events scheduled for the evening of 8 May in Moscow.
"The protocol is presently doing everything to find an alternate route," Fico added.
