Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 09.10.2024):
- On the Kurachov section, the Russians entered Zoriane, which confirms their earlier business of large areas in the east, from which Ukrainians withdrew.
- There are fierce fights in Nowoselydiwka (curach episode).
- The situation of Ukrainians, stationed in Hirnyk and Oleksandropil, is deteriorating. The supply barely reaches them.
- On the Zaporosian section, Russian forces occupied part of the village of Plawnia. The Ukrainian side bombed drone strikers.
- After many weeks of operational pause, the Russians hit the area of Biłohorivka, towards Sierebrianka.
- The dense losses suffered in erstwhile days caused Russian troops to temporarily cease attacks around Piszczane.
- Only regular, common artillery fire and drone attacks last in the Kursk region.
