Russian regions intensify recruitment of volunteers

Russian regional authorities are following Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov's call for “self-mobilization” and are stepping up the recruitment of additional forces to fight in Ukraine, the Institute for the survey of War (ISW) said in a fresh study on Saturday. The war crimes of Russians in Bucha were not an isolated exception, analysts said.
