Polish F-16 fighters intercepted a Russian Il-20 aircraft over the Baltic Sea carrying out a reconnaissance mission in global airspace, without a complex flight plan and with the transponder turned off. There was no violation of Polish airspace, the Operational Command of the Armed Forces said in a statement.
