Russia is slow moving forward in east Ukraine and gearing up for a Kiev counteroffensive

Russian troops are losing forces in east Ukraine in fighting over small, insignificant areas, and the ongoing offensive by the Russians will most likely halt before they can occupy any major city in the Donetsk region, the Institute for War Studies (ISW) said.
