Russian forces carried out further attacks at night on military sector facilities in Kiev and Ukraine-controlled Zaporozh, reported the Ministry of Defence in Moscow.

The communication added that the plant was besides active in installing drone shields on dense armored vehicles.

The Ukrainian State Emergency Situation Service confirmed the night attack, informing that as a consequence of a ballistic rocket strike in Kiev, 1 individual was injured, and a fire broke out in a warehouse in the Schenkov district, which was then put out.

The Ukrainian local authorities in Zaporozh reported that Russian forces carried out a complex attack on the city utilizing rockets and guided aerial bombs, damaging a number of non-residential facilities and residential buildings; six people were killed and 52 were injured.

Ukraine besides carried out drone attacks into Russia's territory; according to the Russian Ministry of Defence, the air defence captured 396 Ukrainian unmanned men in 15 regions.

Mer Moscow Sergey Sobian reported the detection of 237 drones heading towards the capital region, adding that although most of them were neutralized at a large distance, 13 were destroyed at a closer approach.

The politician of the Vorone region Aleksandr Gusiow reported fires in 2 warehouses belonging to ‘large company’ and reported that as a consequence of the strikes in the region, the remains of the drone killed a 49-year-old man. Ukraine has been carrying out attacks in Russia for months, frequently aimed at critical infrastructure and residential buildings, to which Moscow responds with attacks on Ukrainian defence-related facilities.

Russia maintains that it never attacks civilians.
