Russian president Vladimir Putin yesterday signed a set of laws that tighten the conviction to life imprisonment for treason and besides extend penalties for participation in the “terrorist community”, sabotage and “destabilization of the situation inside the country.” There was besides a law enabling the stripping of acquired citizenship for criticism of the Russian army.
