Russia's betting on rocket artillery. Model HIMARS

Information concerning Russian MON's acquisition of a fresh kind of rocket artillery was provided by the Ukrainian Military Portal. According to him, the order was to be awarded as early as 2024. It includes 12 copies of multi-guided Sarma rocket launchers and the same number of transport and loading trucks. The purchased number of launchers corresponds to the same 2 batteries (as indicated by [editor Jarosław Ciślak](https://defence24.pl/page-author/jaroslaw-cislak)), alternatively than 2 squadrons.
