Information regarding the acquisition of a fresh kind of rocket artillery by the Russian Ministry of defence was provided by the Ukrainian portal Militarnyi. According to him, the order was to be awarded as early as 2024. It concerns 12 copies of Sarma multiple rocket launchers and the same number of transport and loading vehicles. The purchased number of launchers corresponds to the same 2 batteries (as indicated by [editor Jarosław Ciślak](https://defence24.pl/strona-autora/jaroslaw-cislak)), and not to 2 squadrons.
