Russia: concerns about NATO's "multi-scale" operation and atomic response

In Russia, atomic weapons are a very crucial subject all the time, both in the specialised writings of the Ministry of Defence and in public propaganda media. Recently, the Russian Defence Ministry has thesis on the alleged threat of a "multi-scale NATO operation" utilizing atomic weapons that would pose a threat to Russia, of course, along with the description of "strategic deterrence operation" which would counter it.
