On 31 December, during the visit of president Vladimir Putin to the staff of the confederate Military territory in Rostov-on-Don, the formal inclusion of separatist militia corps - the 1st Donetsk Army Corps of the DRL and the 2nd Guards Luhansk-Severodonetsk Army Corps of the LRL, as well as the higher officer's school in Donetsk, took place.
