Russian propaganda absurdly discourages its citizens from going to the “dangerous” West. Since the invasion of Ukraine, more than 800,000 people have left the country. Vladimir Putin's government is afraid about mass leaving the country by its citizens, who either argue Russia's policies or want to defend themselves from military mobilization. The authorities have just launched a propaganda run to discourage Russians from fleeing abroad.
