The main nonsubjective of this initiative is to increase logistical resilience on the east flank of NATO. The erstwhile dependence on 1 main entry point – Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport – brought strategical risks. The fresh Romanian node will let faster and more efficient transportation of arms to the front in Donbasa and to the confederate regions of Ukraine, creating a unchangeable confederate transit route.
