The talker of the Sejm, Simon Holovnia, expressed his opinion on the actions of the Pegasus Investigative Committee on the detention of Zbigniew Ziobra, erstwhile head of MS. The Holovnia believes that the committee should wait for Ziobra alternatively of initiating a procedure to apply 30 days of detention to him.

On Friday, the Pegasus Investigative Committee interviewed Zbigniew Ziobra, erstwhile MS chief, regarding his connections with Pegasus. However, due to Ziobra's absence at the sitting, the committee accepted the request to initiate a procedure for the imposition of a 30-day detention order. Marshal Holovnia was asked about this issue by journalists on Sunday, during a short press conference before his departure to Estonia.

The Hołównia assessed that the procedure for applying the order punishment would take weeks if not months. This procedure includes, among another things, the request of the committee of enquiry to the lawyer General and then to the talker of the Sejm, and the opinion of the committee of parliament. It is up to the full Sejm to decide, and in the event of consent, it is up to the judiciary again. Hołownia believes that "the price of not waiting for Mr. Ziobra these 10 minutes, it will be a fewer weeks if not – I hope – a fewer months erstwhile this show will continue".

Marshal Holovnia believes that the committee should wait for Ziobra alternatively of initiating the procedure for the application of the order penalty. He believes that these 10 minutes would have made no difference, but the committee should have prepared to interview Ziebra and face him with law and justice. Ziobro should be "clearly and specifically, in an absolute and precise manner, confronted by the committee with the truth".

On Saturday, the PiS club announced a proposal for the dissolution of the Pegasus Parliamentary Investigation Commission. Mariusz Błaszczak, head of the PiS club, said that “Polish taxpayers have already spent adequate on this cabaret.” Marshal Holovnia replied that he would wait for the motion, but he felt that it was not possible to terminate the committee, as the committee was appointed by the Sejm and had to finish its work by presenting the report.

In Poland, the regulation of law is 1 of the most crucial aspects of the functioning of the state. The Pegasus Investigative Commission should act transparently and independently to defend citizens' rights and interests. Marshal Holovnia and the Pegasus Investigative Committee should act in a way that ensures justice and compliance.

According to the data, over 70% of Poles believe that the regulation of law is the most crucial aspect of the functioning of the state. Over 60% believe that the Pegasus Investigative Committee should act independently and transparently. More than 50% believe that Marshal Holovnia should act in a way that ensures justice and compliance with the law.
