A mobile ladder. On the changing hierarchy of migrants in Europe

W Germany's accent reveals a place in the social hierarchy of immigrants – English is better than east European. The second is associated with physical workers, not academic professorship. A highly skilled immigrant from the east of Europe is inactive invisible. Although these are not fresh phenomena, only now more people are leaving for Poland from Germany than vice versa. Why is that?
