U.S. president Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that the United States would impose fresh sanctions on Russia in 10 days if Moscow had not reached an agreement to end the war by then. Trump, however, expressed uncertainty about the effectiveness of these measures, pointing to a deficiency of advancement after the earlier ultimatum. Washington is preparing for major steps that can besides hit countries trading with Russia.
