On Friday, the “Declaration of the Defence Movement of Poles” came to light. Below we print the content of the document.
“Poland was at a very hard minute in history. The sovereignty of our Homeland and the freedom of Poles are at stake. Politicians forming the elites have failed – a run of fierce conflict between the parties, which in many areas do not disagree much, continues devastating and antagonizing our countrymen. present Poland needs consent, respect for eternal values and liable and courageous cooperation of Poles!
Having a sense of work for the future of our country and for the destiny of our children, we feel it is our work to jointly initiate actions in defence of Poland and Poles. We are led by eternal values: God – Honor – Homeland, which form a circumstantial programme of actions. Our ideals grow out of the belief that eternal and unchanging fact exists. Nor have we always taken, nor will we take, action contrary to Christian ethics and honor. We are guided by the belief that good goals cannot be achieved by utilizing immoral methods. In our view, there is no little evil, so we reject specified choices. Finally, the Homeland is simply a great, sacred work for us, a sense of dignity and a commitment to being conscious, modern Poles.
We have accepted the questionable actions of politicians who claim to be our representatives who have yet failed. We feel that there is large strength and energy in our nation, which should be awakened and directed towards work for Poland.
We join the Declaration of the Polish Defence Movement, inviting to cooperate all for whom God, Honor and Homeland are superior values. Together we will defend Polish sovereignty, reconstruct justice and make Poland a safe home for all its inhabitants.
