On Thursday, before leaving Washington, Marco Rubio was asked if he would meet Volodymyr Zelenski at the Munich safety Conference.
– I think so. I think he'll be there and there'll be a chance to see him. said the U.S. Secretary of State. He added that the gathering has been included in the schedule, although it is not absolutely certain, but assumes that the conversation will take place.

According to information provided to AP agencies by American officials, Rubio is to focus on cooperation in the area of common challenges specified as the mediate East, the war in Ukraine and matters concerning China.
The State Department announced that his stay in Germany would last until February 15. After the visit, the Secretary of State is expected to go to Slovakia and Hungary, where bilateral discussions are planned, including energy issues and NATO cooperation.
Tusk will speak
The main subject of the Munich safety Conference, which runs until Sunday, is to transform the global strategy of forces and tensions in transatlantic relations. The event will be attended by Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Deputy Prime Minister and abroad Minister Radosław Sikorski.

On Saturday, Ewald von Kleist will be awarded to the Ukrainian people in designation of their courage, dedication and determination in defence of their own freedom and all of Europe. The award will be received by president Volodymyr Zelenski, and the laudation – as announced by the organizers – will be given by Prime Minister Tusk.
