Forced evacuation of children from Slavic in Donbasa began

The Ukrainian authorities began present the forced evacuation of children from Slaviansk in the Donetsk Oblast, in the east of the country. According to Reuter's agency, this is simply a sign of deteriorating situation in this city, 1 of the last bastions of Ukrainian forces in Donbasa. Russian troops are approaching Slavic.

"I signed an order for the forced evacuation of children from any Slavic districts, which are most susceptible to enemy attacks," wrote the head of the Donietsk Military Authority Vada Filashkin on Telegram.

Russian forces are slow approaching Slavinsk from the north and east and are now about 20 km from the city's borders.

Ukraine continues to control about a 4th of the Donetsk region.
