A survey of east Europe at the University of Warsaw announces the beginning of receiving applications for the XXXIII edition of the east Review Award for books published in 2025.
The east Review Award has been awarded since 1994 for the best technological book devoted to east European issues – both in the category of national and abroad awards. The award is organised by the magazine “East Review”.
Reports should be made by filling in a survey “National Prize” or “Foreign Prize”. The final assignment of submitted publications to individual categories shall be made by the Jury during the competition meeting.
Prizes are awarded in the following categories:
- National Prize
- Foreign Prize
- Edit Sources
- Popularisation of east Issues
- History of Poles in the East
- Special Prize
In accordance with the applicable principle, the author can only receive the east Review Award once. Applications should cover books whose year of issue indicated in the metric is 2025. Collective work, renewals or reissues are not allowed for the competition. For abroad publications, it is possible to study books of abroad authors translated into Polish. The exception is the peculiar Prize, awarded for the full technological acquis – in this case the survey “National Prize” should be completed.
The Promoter reserves the right to ask for 2-3 copies of the published publication or its electronic version.
