The Left and the Confederacy have a completely different view of the economy, social issues or climate policy. There are many differences between these groups and their constituents. However, there are any elements, specified as the age of the electorate, which let to talk about similarities between parties.

The Confederacy and Left are 2 highly different political parties. They have a completely different view of economical and social issues, a different approach to climate policy and relations with the EU. It would seem that specified different parties have nothing in common. The voters of both parties do not seem to like each other. A completely different approach to many matters usually makes it impossible to realize between these social groups. The Confederate and Left electorate so seem to be very different, but they are akin in any respects.

The Ideals of Young People

The first common component is simply a akin age of electorate. Both the Confederacy and the Levica are voted by the most young people. They want change due to the fact that they are the de facto future of this country. The voters of both parties think not only about what is here and now, but besides about Poland in a few, possibly respective decades. So it is no wonder that both parties are discussing the future. Among young women, the most support for the Left (according to the September Ipsos poll for the OKO.press and TOK FM, 46% of those voting for the Left are women aged 18-39) and young men are powerfully more likely to bet on the Confederacy (the same poll shows that 70% of those voting for the Confederacy are men aged 18-39). It besides seems that, due to the age of the voters, both parties have stronger positions. People with centre views will even say that both 1 organization and the another organization represent extreme, even extremist views. Although the Polish Left is far from communism, for which it is accused, it is much more economically behind the welfare state than the parties referred to as centre or liberal. The Confederacy in turn bases its message on purely right-wing ideas. It seems that young people have a more zero-one approach to the planet and live ideals. They want a change that will lead to a better future, so there should be no concessions.

The future we want

However, despite akin age and firmness in views, voters of these parties have completely different visions of what Poland should look like in a fewer or respective decades. Any environmental regulations for the Confederation are coercion and pointless regulations. The assassinations of freedom. They so believe that Poland should declare the FIT for 55 package, although this involves the country's departure from the European Union. In the end, for them it is their own comfort that they summarize in the catchy slogan “House, grill, grass, 2 cars and a vacation for all working Pole”. For the Left, action to reduce human impact on the environment is the basis of a society that thinks not only of its future, but besides of the planet.

There are definitely more differences in the imagination of a perfect country. For the Confederation, Poland's dreams are the 1 with low taxes, where everyone takes work for themselves, and providing wellness care by the state is not right to exist. The left side stands on the another side and proposes a number of social programmes that aim to increase prosperity and improve the quality of life of the average citizen. Issues specified as the housing crisis or the deficiency of access to nursery care are crucial to them, which require a fast solution. There are besides planet views. The left says “no” to the privileges of the church in the state and demands greater separation of the 2 entities. This organization besides supports single-sex matrimony or abortion on request. The Confederate, on the another hand, wants to keep a conservative order and believes that the law should be built on the basis of the teaching of the Catholic Church (for example, it proposes the conclusion of “inseparable marriages”). For a free party, he wants to ban amazingly many things, specified as same-sex vows.

Anti-systemism of different understandings

There are many differences, as you can see. However, is there anything too the young age of the electorate and the firm position that unites these parties? Yes – antisystemism. Although it is completely different from the 2 environments. For the Confederation, this means fighting a strategy that is not full free market. There are any restrictions in Poland to defend the interests of workers or tenants. So there is no full free market. There are besides taxes which, according to Confederate voters, are evil in themselves and hinder the improvement of many industries. For the Left, antisystemism means fighting the dominant capitalist system. They want a welfare state that will give a comfortable life to all those who do not have the conditions to manage themselves in the current economical system. They want to level the playing field so that not only entrepreneurs or well placed people have access to many goods on the market, but besides average citizens.

The Confederate and Left voters, but besides the parties themselves, have any in common. In the vast majority it is simply a young electorate who feels that it is the future of the country. The voters of these groups represent a firm position and do not accept compromises. Both parties are anti-systemic, but anti-systemic they perceive differently. So there are definitely more differences and they are significant. Confederate and Left voters have a very different opinion on economic, social or political issues. So it is hard to talk about similarity erstwhile the knowing of the planet and ideals are completely different in these 2 groups.
