The Germans decided to commemorate the Polish victims of planet War II. The plans include the construction of a monument and the Polish-German home – although they must be approved by the fresh Bundestag.

Meanwhile, a temporary monument appeared on the site of the planned construction work. It's almost 30 tons... stone. A bedrock named “The Stone of Memory for Poland 1939-1945” was placed on the site of the erstwhile opera house, in which Adolf Hitler spoke on September 1, 1939.

On the website of the German Institute of Polish Affairs in Darmstadt, it is written that the appropriate monument will be erected as a “civil society initiative”. His unveiling is scheduled for May.
