Article Jarosław Kurski entitled “The strategy of yielding to right force is fruitless. Worse! It encourages it to escalate further pressures" of August 21, this year, under average circumstances, it would not be essential to pay attention, or possibly even not to do so. After all, there has been a continuation of the same text published in "Gazeta Wyborcza" for thirty-five years. Its main message is to sow fear of the supposedly "growing - in our country - a brown wave" of Fascism. Unfortunately, in fresh times we have clearly seen that creating an atmosphere of psychosis, building a climate of fear of the “foreign”, and this is what Kurski does in his aggressive pamphlet, can easy lead to violence. The assassination in Minneapolis of Catholic youth, as well as the assassination of Christian talker Charlie Kirk by an “anti-fascist” fanatic, makes it impossible for erstwhile deputy Adam Michnik to stay silent.
Alien or Second Pole
"The Aliens" is in Jarosław Kurski's text his compatriot, another Pole, individual who has different views than the author. Courses, of course, in signaling virtue, are presented in their essay as a defender of democracy, which is not surprising. In fact, however, according to the intellectual tradition of the paper which the line co-created, it proposes solutions with the essence of democracy contradictory. Under the cloak of the fight against the fascist “brunny wave”, it promotes a imagination of liberal authoritarianism, in which elected elites arbitrarily decide what to think, talk and commemorate. The freedom of speech and association – the foundations not only of the democratic system, but of all free society – presents us with Kurski as a threat, due to the fact that they let for narratives with which he disagrees.
Does that surprise you? Not really. Everything said in the essay is consistently based on theoretical principles announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk last year, the phase of "fighting democracy". And "a fighting democracy", although it refers to the concept of Karl Loewenstein, who sought in political explanation tools to defend democracy by Nazism, in Polish conditions is simply a war in defence of the interests of those who benefited from the liberal revolution that has been going on since 1989. In 1 sentence, it is worth recalling that in the first half of the 1990s, the journalists “Gazeta Wyborcza” repeatedly suggested that Polish politics are not ready for organization pluralism. In fact, however, it was democratic pluralism that succeeded in stopping the construction of a radically liberal utopia. The aim of this "building" was to destruct Polish traditions, Polish moral and political sovereignty, and to humiliate Poles with specified tools as the shame of the past, regardless of its radiance and glory, which the media has treated.
The rhetoric about the so-far "softness of democrats towards fascism" serves Kursk as a convenient bogeyman, justifies the request to suppress uncomfortable voices. alternatively of defending pluralism, the author proposes a model of politics in which only 1 worldview – its own liberal – is considered acceptable. The article by the erstwhile Vice-President of the "Electoral Gazette" is so not, contrary to the declarations, a truly democratic voice. It is the voice of the liberal rebellion, which has been trying to suppress freedom of thought in Poland for over 30 years. We can already say present that the experimentation of liberal utopia carried out in Poles, among others from the inspiration of 1 of the main ideologists of the 3rd Republic of Poland Adam Michnik, failed and should be completed. At the same time, her epigons should come to their senses, regain their senses, and halt sowing hatred. There are inactive many people who have specified absurd sentences as that "the fight against the coming fascism in Poland is an absolute value in itself", they can take it seriously.
Sea of interior enemies
Jarosław Kurski's work was summed up a fewer days later by Marcin Matczak (August 26th) in his polemic – besides published in “Gazeta Wyborcza” – asking a reasonably simple and factual question: “Do all 10 million citizens voting for Karol Nawrocki, according to Jarosław Kurski, are fascists who must be fought?” Yes, is it worth dealing with the text, the main content of which is talking and insulting another people?
However, the Kurski text needs to be leaned over for another reason present – it has grown very sick and the public should be able to see the consequences of irresponsible publishing. possibly even the author himself should realize something erstwhile he writes that he realizes “that the position of a reviewer – a publicist – is highly comfortable due to the fact that it is free of real responsibility. Everyone can get smart, only in a collision with reality there is little.” However, if in his essay he called it frivolous (the text is full of frivolous opinions) Roman Dmowski as the patron of president Narutovich's assassin, should be careful not to become patron of any another future misfortune by his own words. And the text of editor Kurski is full of names of "bad people". Sharing their own political revelations, stigmatizing the absolutely acquainted figures of public life Jarosław Kurski clearly – though possibly unconsciously – is looking for his fanatic.
To be honest, I'm not curious in Jarosław Kurski's views. With many examples of alleged “fascism”, which he gives in the text, it should be discussed and many people do so in substance and, most importantly, effectively. But I know well that it is hard to talk to ideologists, due to the fact that – as the old anecdotes say about the philosopher Heglu – if reality contradicts their beliefs, it is worse for reality. Leszek Kołakowski wrote in 1990 (28-29 July 1990, No. 174) that there was a "closed mentality and an open mentality; 1 – tribal, chauvinist, xenophobic, the another – expressing the principles of tolerance, civilian equality, rational discussion". Anyone who read an essay by Jarosław Kurski would should be included in the first group, even if chauvinism and xenophobia had to be converted to contempt and fatherphobia. However, that is not the point: a substance of responsibility.
A fewer words of responsibility
The assassination of Catholic youth in Minneapolis occurred only a week after the publication of Jarosław Kurski's article. The same day FBI manager Kash Patel wrote on portal X, that "Killing children at the School of the Annunciation in Minneapolis is to be classified as an act of interior terrorism and a crime resulting from hatred of Catholics". The political execution of Christian talker Charlie Kirk was carried out on September 10 after a series of threats he received earlier. These threats were to force silence on him. It is known that Kirk was besides a Republican activist supporting the current president of the United States. To add to this series, due to the fact that possibly individual has already forgotten, an effort on Donald Trump's life a year ago. Are these events a coincidence, or is it a consequence of the liberal media's commitment to tracking and even hunting fascists?
Each of these cases could, of course, a skillful publicist effort to present as an isolated case the actions of a madman. However, the Charlie Kirk case shows a very different origin of hatred than liberal and left-wing publicists would have liked. This man became a victim of the constant force that liberal establishment exerts on society, convincing them that people with right-wing views are evil. They were looking for a fanatic and they found him. But that is not all. Kirk's death faced a wave of hatred in the leftist and liberal environments. There are countless examples of Victim blaming on social media expressing joy over the murder. University of Austin students asked about the tragedy Response in a spirit of contempt: “he deserved it” and even, “I would have done it myself.” The European Parliament, usually ready for countless symbolic declarations on various matters, refused to celebrate his memory with a minute of silence. Hostile responses have revealed a mechanics of liberal "tolerance", which is selective and excludes anyone who opposes its very narrow socio-political doctrine.
The media besides immediately tried to bring rationalizations to the public to weaken the widespread belief that Kirk's death was liable for liberal hatred of those who thought otherwise. reasoning differently they don't truly know. And ignorance leads to fear, and fear to violence. Many times it was written by journalists specified as “Gazeta Wyborcza”, diagnosing the psyche of people with different views. That is why we immediately read that “the extremist supporter of Trump,” “the martyr of the populist right”. What was it another than trying to soften the pronunciation of the event, saying that nothing had actually happened? specified communicative means one, the lib-left establishment has completely lost its sense of measure, community and work with another people. "Not my president, not my bishops, not my colleagues, not my patriotism. The only thing that is mine is simply a common state," writes Jarosław Kurski in his essay. And as the text shows, this country needs to be cleared.
Mass Violence
Jarosław Kurski's lyrics begin with a simple story. The author meets an old man in the woods with whom he has a good chat. It is good until the old man turns to political issues involuntaryly. Then this casually met walker exclaims: “I hatred Wałęsa, I hatred Tusk, I hatred Trzaskowski and all this judaic band. I would have strangled Tuska by his bare hands and hung him by the balls!’ “I felt weird. If only he knew that I was from “Gazeta Wyborcza”, he would stab me with a mushroom goat”, says Jarosław Kurski. To be honest, after reading the text “The strategy of yielding to the force of the right hand is fruitless”, as specified an old woman, only with greater comfort, I see Jarosław Kurski himself. Only in the words of anger should names be replaced in Kaczyński, Nawrocki, Mentzen, Bosak, Bąkiewicz, Braun or even Kosiniaka-Kamysz, and Jews in “katoli”. In this enumeration of "bad people" could be found, it seems, not only 10 million voters of Karol Nawrocki, but besides a number of "democrats" who would not like Jarosław Kurski's money. The narrow group of “real Poles” could shrink to the list of colleagues working at Czerska Street after the selection of the publicist “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
I could finish this text with another quote from Jarosław Kurski, who gives well what I see here, especially after the incidents in Minneapolis and the assassination of Charlie Kirk. "I feel no spiritual solidarity with a gentle old man in the woods. Rather, I sense the climate of the upcoming pogrom violence," writes the writer and is hard to disagree with. There is only 1 problem, he himself is part of a hatred machine, which has been active in calling for “********** and Confederacy for many years”. Which justified the attacks on the Churches in 2020 and many another acts of aggression.
Mild but terrible old men, if they don't remember, they must be allowed to speak, it is the right to free speech. Even if they say things false or dangerous to society. It has its advantages. Sometimes the man with this freedom of expression – which is inactive given him luckily – compromises himself and best overcomes himself. This was, in fact, Charlie Kirk's method of discussion, allowing those who aggressively attacked him to “disclose the thoughts of their hearts” (Lk 2:35). That's why individual yet decided to take him out.
In view of this madness of the people of reason, we inactive gotta pray that individual in the head does not overstep that the words of irresponsible editors should be passed on to irresponsible acts.
