Dmitry Jadr, head of Rosaviation, or national Air Transport Agency, speaks straight about the unfunny prospects of home passenger aviation. On 7 October, at the gathering of the economical Policy Committee of the Federation Council (a higher chamber of the Russian Parliament), he gave circumstantial figures: the full fleet of Russian airlines now represents 1135 aircraft, 34 more machines than in April 2022, but as early as 2030, as many as 339 machines are to be decommissioned. Of which 230 – Russian and even russian production, utilized from 40 to 60 years.
