According to safety expert Fleming Splidsboel Hansen, The Kremlin hopes to make narratives that Denmark's assistance to Ukraine is due to individual relations between Frederiksen and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenski.
– It is about weakening the president of Ukraine, but besides the Prime Minister of Denmark," stressed Splidsboel Hansen, quoted by the Danish paper "Ekstra Bladet".
The diary stated that Frederiksen's husband, manager and camera operator, Bo Tengberg, received 190,000 kronor (about EUR 25 000) through a production company, which he co-owners for the movie The Conflict. The grant last year was awarded by the Danish movie Institute, an institution under the Ministry of Culture.

When asked about the case, Frederiksen expressed her satisfaction that her husband had decided to usage his talent to show the consequences of the Russian war against Ukraine.
– Of course, I have nothing to do with this document, and I am not involved. – she assured.
Tengberg, who is simply a postgraduate of the Danish movie School and a Danish-known documentary filmmaker, married Frederiksen in 2020, which is erstwhile he was already a recognized filmmaker.
