The Julyer to a large, nearly half-million-dollar town, being the capital of the circuit north of the Vorone region. It lies about 300 km from the Ukrainian border. Lipeck is simply a large base where there is simply a Russian training center and had a 968th mixed training-test regiment before the war. It utilized Su-27 and MiG-29 aircraft, as well as Su-24 and Su-25 different versions, as well as newer Su-30 and Su-34 aircraft. During the war, due to its location, the base acts as 1 of the places where attacks against Ukrainian troops are being conducted and the machines of different types were temporarily based here.
