The bailout strategy in Poland will apply in a fewer months. This means large changes for both customers and shops themselves. However, it turns out that not all are going to comply with the fresh rules. Rossmann felt it would be better to change the current offer.
The Polish bailout strategy aims to advance recycling by introducing a deposit on circumstantial packages, as the name suggests. Although any products will so go up, customers will receive a refund after giving bottles or cans. Here, however, there is simply a problem due to the fact that stores request to prepare for this, and not all will be worth it. An example is Rossmann, as well as another non-food stores.

The bailout strategy in Poland will apply soon. We must remember these provisions
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Polish bailout strategy will apply from October 2025. From that minute on, the sale of beverages will be subject to bail of:

0.50 PLN for plastic bottles of up to 3 litres capacity;
0.50 PLN for metallic cans of a capacity up to a litre;
gold for reusable glass bottles of up to 1.5 litres.

The above mentioned packages can be returned without having to show a receipt at any point of collection. These, on the another hand, must be created in shops:

an area of more than 200 m3 where beverages are available in packages covered by the bail-out scheme;
a surface area of little than 200 m3 where beverages are available in reusable glass bottles.

Other shops may besides join the system, but this is not mandatory. In addition, another collection points will be created, and deposit machines will besides be available outside the trading points. However, the government in question is simply a problem for any points.

Polish bail strategy versus non-food stores. Rossmann provided a sub-substitution for the withdrawal of beverages from the offer
Non-food shops (such as drugstores, pharmacies or RTV/AGD stores) frequently offer drinks in packages that will be covered by the bailout system. However, they do not represent a large part of their sales to justify the creation of a collection point. For this reason, Rossmann announced that from 1 October 2025, in their stores we would no longer get the products in question.
The fresh bill in our opinion is not adapted to the format of the drugstore. all free space in the drugstore is utilized primarily to exposure and store cosmetic and chemical products. Meanwhile, the strategy is common - no acquisition receipt will be required upon return, which means that we would be obliged to accept any number of packages covered by the system. Today, we have no way of predicting what numbers we are talking about. Therefore, we are incapable to implement the bailout strategy in this form
Agata Nowakowska, Rossmann's press secretary. The portal emphasizes that this problem is besides highlighted by the Polish Trade and Distribution Organisation (POHiD). The organization called on Prime Minister Donald Tusk to review the regulations, as in the current form they could force more companies to retreat drinks from their offers.
