At the same time, veto law in the global context besides exists in another organisations and can function as an chance to block a consensus that is required to take decisions in many formats. In this way, the Russian Federation has the right to veto both in the collective safety strategy that the UN creates and in the regional collective safety strategy in Europe through membership of the OSCE. In both cases, the Kremlin repeatedly utilized its privileged position to make convenient conditions for intensifying its activities. This issue is peculiarly crucial now that talks and ideas on peace in Ukraine, safety guarantees or possible peacekeeping operations are increasing.
