The collapse of the Russian arms manufacture seems to be a trend in subsequent years. The latest five-year-old, or 2019-2023, SIPRI compared with the period 2014-2018. Compared to this last period, Russian exports decreased by 53%. In the erstwhile five-year-old, Moscow sold 21% of global exports, while in the current ratio it is 11%. The number of countries that are large recipients of Russian weapons has besides fallen. If there were 31 before, in 2022 there were only 14 countries. In 2023, and thus in the period after the start of a full-size war in Ukraine, Russia could number on 12 faithful customers.
