Russia without a fresh agreement on bases in Syria

Syria, although not excluding the signing of fresh agreements, emphasises that possible agreements will only be possible on a mutually beneficial basis. The current treaties, signed by the erstwhile regime, have been suspended because, as the current authorities say, they do not correspond to the interests of the Syrian public.
