Romanian presidential election bypasses nearly 99 percent of votes counted

After 98.85 percent of votes were counted, George Simion won the first circular of the presidential election with 40.39 percent. Dan Nicusor came in second with 20.86 percent. The second circular of the presidential election in Romania will be held on May 18.
