Romania: Pro-Russian candidate Călin Georgescu cannot run in presidential elections

The Central Election Bureau (BEC) has decided to reject the candidacy of Călin Georgescu in the presidential elections. The gendarmerie utilized teardrop gas against the aggressive protesters of the pro-Russian candidate who gathered in front of the BEC headquarters. Arrests are ongoing.
