The Romanian Ministry of Defence reported that the 4 multi-task Corvettes of the Govind 2500 kind were cancelled in Romanian shipyards. In the case of the Romanian Navy, there is inactive a programme for the acquisition of 2 Scorpène submarines, which would consequence in "savings" of around EUR 2 billion.
