Romania buys Abrams

“We are aiming for parliament to approve our proposals for the acquisition of the Abrams tank battalion,” said Maj. Gen. Teodor Incicașa, head of the General Directorate for Armaments of Romania's defence Ministry. It was not specified precisely which variant of the American tanks would be obtained or what the value of this acquisition would be. This information will likely be known erstwhile the paper goes to parliament in Bucharest.
