The Sejm decided to waive the immunity of associate of the Confederation of the Polish Crown to Roman Fritz. The Prosecutor's Office accuses him of stealing the bold flag of the European Union displayed in the lobby of the Ministry of Industry. He was to commit this act together with Grzegorz Braun.
Former lawyer General Adam Bodnar's request waiving immunity to Roman Fritz 239 Members supported, 164 opposed and 34 abstained.

In the same voting block, the Sejm agreed to waive immunity to Antoni Macerewicz. The PiS MP was expected to uncover classified information erstwhile he led the work Smolensk subcommittee.
Flag theft in the Ministry of Industry
The case concerns the events of May which took place at the office Ministry of manufacture in Katowice.

In July then Minister of Justice and lawyer General Adam Bodnar announced the signing of requests to waive the immunity of Euro MP Grzegorz Braun and associate Roman Fritz. As he said, both politicians are accused of cooperating in stealing the flag.
