After the Polish Presidency of the EU Council, which lasted until the end of June 2025, the Presidency was taken over by Denmark. As announced on Monday by Danish abroad Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen, the precedence for his country will be to finalise an agreement with Mercosur by the end of the year, an organization bringing together respective South American countries. However, this agreement raises considerable concerns for farmers and agricultural production countries.
