Anniversary of the liberation of advanced Silesia

On January 27, the inhabitants of Katowice laid flowers under the monument of those who liberated Katowice from Nazism and Germany. At 12 a.m. the flowers were presented by representatives of St. Generation, Polish Left Movement and Polish thought Club.

On January 28, Kombatan organizations in Bytom celebrated the anniversary of the liberation of this land from Nazism and Germany. The flowers were folded and the candles were lit. In erstwhile years, veterans of the 1st and 2nd Polish Army, soldiers of the People's Army and the National Army met in the cemetery. This year only 1 veteran col. Roman Świdziński accompanied us. The ceremony was attended by delegations of St. St. Deputies of the Kombatants of the Second planet War, St. Berlin's LWP Tradition from Bytomia and Piekar Śląski, the Association of Kombatants of the Republic of Poland and erstwhile Politicians, the St. Generation and the Polish thought Club. Most of the people coming to the memorial that day are descendants of 1 and 2 AWP soldiers. Roland Dubowski and Roman Swidziński took the voice at the monument. In the afternoon they folded flowers and candles lit were activists of the National organization and Self-defense. Flowers were besides found in Siemianowice Śląski, Piekarach Śląski, Sonowc and Dąbrowa Górnicza.
