Rising Sun 24 - joint exercises of Japan, Italy and the USA

The aim of these exercises will be to increase military cooperation, improve defence capabilities and interoperability. The key area of cooperation will be the Misawa Air Base in the northern part of Honsiu Island. It is simply a starting point for the nipponese Air defence Force, as well as for the US Air Force, the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.
