Rheinmetall buys components for artillery production

These artillery systems were ordered, under a contract signed in the spring of last year, in number [10 vehicles](https://defence24.pl/strong-arms/Germans-buy-haubice-na-gasienice), and a fewer months later it was decided to usage the option's right to get further [12 copies](https://defence24.pl/strong-arms/Germans-buy-rail-pzh-2000). The value of the contract signed with the execution of the additional contract amounted to about 375 million euros. Under the framework agreement, six PzH 2000 could be bought for about EUR 95 million. The current contract between PzH 2000 producers is the transportation of 22 chassis and 22 division of 155 mm for 135 million euros. The final assembly will be carried out by the Rheinmetall AG plant in Unterlüß in Lower Saxony.
