A revolution in work placement. ZUS will issue fresh certificates from 2026

From 1 January 2026, revolutionary changes in the Labour Code come into force, which extend the list of periods included in the traineeship for the intent of acquiring benefits and allowances. The fresh regulations will include contract contracts, business activity (JDG) and work abroad. ZUS will issue certificates confirming those periods, which will be crucial to the dimension of leave and another entitlements. The changes were introduced by president Karol Nawrocki, signing the amendment.
