On Wednesday 15 October 2025, the president of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, signed the Act of 26 September 2025 amending the Act – the Labour Code and any another laws. The amendment prepared by MRPiPS introduces revolutionary changes in the way the traineeship is determined, on which a number of worker rights depend – including the dimension of leave, the amount of severance, internship allowances and Jubilee awards.
