TEHERAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Embassy in Poland stated that Tehran has the right, in accordance with the United Nations Charter, to respond to the Ukrainian military attack on an Iranian merchant ship in the Caspian Sea.
The Embassy of the muslim Republic of Iran in Poland wrote in a post on the X portal that following the example of Zionist government leaders who have drawn the United States into the war with Iran, the president of Ukraine seeks to drag Europe and NATO into the war with Iran.
‘He (President of Ukraine) has already exceeded his duties and not only interfered with Iran's interior affairs, but besides played a function in arming any parties attacking Iran during and after the 40-day war."
Iran's Embassy stressed: "It is clear that Iran's restraint is not infinite".
He added that “answer is our right under the United Nations Charter.”
On Saturday, the Iranian abroad Ministry powerfully condemned the attack, identifying it as a violation of Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter and an act of aggression that could lead to further escalation of the conflict. It stated that the Ukrainian authorities' confession to the attack reflected the continuation of Kiev's hostile attitude towards Iran.
The Ministry besides stressed that under global law and the inalienable right to self-defence Iran would not hesitate to defend its national interests and security, informing that the work for the consequences of this incidental rests with the Ukrainian government and its supporters.
The dangerous unrest of Ukraine will not stay unanswered, says Iran spokesperson
TEHERAN (Tasnim) – A spokesperson for the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Iran condemned Ukraine's criminal military attack on an Iranian merchant ship in the Caspian Sea, stressing that "dangerous unrest" would not stay unanswered.
‘All parties who consider themselves supporters and supporters of Ukraine must be held accountable," he said. Esmaeil Baqaei at a Monday press conference in Tehran.
‘Basically, the behaviour of the president of Ukraine resembles the behaviour of the anarchists who took dangerous action during planet War I," he said, stressing that "the consequences will surely bear".
Baqaei said 4 years ago that the Ukrainian government had lowered to the function of a tool in a geopolitical dispute between the powers and accused another countries alternatively of worrying about its own country.
‘He constantly slandered others. We said from the beginning that we did not interfere in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. This operation of Ukraine (attacking a ship) was a dangerous adventure that will not stay unanswered and the elders of Ukraine must hold (the president of Ukraine) responsible. We know that the Caspian Sea states are dissatisfied with this action, and the Ukrainian government must definitely be held accountable."
