Krzysztof Bosak in the Sejm at a press conference on the resignation of generals:
– The Confederacy's comment to disturbing, sensational information about the resignation of Chief of Staff General Romuald Andrzejczak and the operational commander of General Tomasz Piotrowski. It is the culmination of the conflict of the highest commanders of the Polish Army with Minister Błaszczak.
We have been paying attention to this situation from the very beginning. We criticised the blame of the commanders by Minister Błaszczak for the situation involving the concealment of the fall of the rocket at Bydgoszcz and for various types of irregularities in communication with the public, with the concealment of this situation.
We think Minister Błaszczak, no substance what happened, should be behind the soldiers. If there is an irregularity, this should be explained. However, the situation in which the Minister of National Defence blames the highest commanders is evidently unacceptable. Above all, it prevents further cooperation with the general staff. It is known that respect for the uniform must be. If there were any inappropriate cases, the consequences should be drawn in cooperation with the President, who is the head of the armed forces. Not conflict with everyone.

– present we see that in a very delicate situation, erstwhile there is simply a war going on outside our borders, erstwhile we have a crisis on the border with Belarus, these structures are paralyzed. The Minister deals with the departure of the highest generals, who at the same time represent Poland in the framework of the Natovian cooperation, or represent the armed forces of the Republic towards another constitutional bodies. ...

– I gotta say, I highly appreciate Gen. Andrzejczak's voice due to the fact that it was not politically correct. It was a realistic voice, sometimes skeptical. about the real situation and the real global situation in which we found ourselves during the ongoing war in Ukraine. General Andrzejczak did not liquefy the situation in contrast to politicians. And possibly that's why he had to resign. ...

We have resignations from the most crucial commanders leading the Polish Armed Forces. It is worth noting that yesterday, in the debate, I was the only 1 who spoke of a bad minister policy @mblaszczak And the request to respect soldiers, not to usage troops for an election campaign!https://t.co/IMyAxNCBuz
