

Fifteen years ago, on 10 April 2010, 96 people died in the Tu-154M plane crash in Smolensk, among them: president Lech Kaczyński with his wife Maria, last president of Poland in exile Ryszard Kaczorowski and another personalities. The Polish delegation went on to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Katyn crime. In Warsaw and Krakow there will be celebrations related to the commemoration of the victims of the disaster. Celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster
08:15. Folding of wreaths
The head of the Chancellery of the president of the Republic of Poland, Małgorzata Paprocka, laid the wreaths in front of the plaques located in front of the Presidential Palace and in the chapel of the Palace dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Smolensk catastrophe.
8:00. A Mass began for the victims of tragedy
In the seminary church close Krakowskie Przedmieście Mass began for its victims. Among another participants of the service are politicians of the Law and Justice Party, including organization president Jarosław Kaczyński.
Also present are: b. the head of the MAP Jacek Sasin, b. the head of MON Mariusz Błaszczak, b. the marshal of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek and the head of the Chancellery of president Małgorzata Paprock.
After Mass, participants will go to the Presidential Palace, where the Memorial Appeal will be held at 8.41 pm, during which the names of all the victims of the disaster will be read.
