00:02. The head of the Hungarian MFA accused Zelenski of utilizing threats against his country
Hungarian abroad Minister Peter Szijjarto accused the president of Ukraine of utilizing threats against his country. In the post on platform X, he besides called on Volodymyr Zelenski to halt attacks threatening Hungary's energy security.
Zelenski utilized Ukrainian national vacation to endanger Hungary. We powerfully reject the threats of the president of Ukraine. We consider territorial sovereignty and integrity to be fundamental values of global policy. Therefore, we respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country and anticipate the same in return

The politician commented on the video on which president Zelenski stated – referring to attacks on the pipeline relationship providing oil from Russia to Hungary – that "friendship between Ukraine and Hungary depends on Hungarian attitude".
In fresh days Ukraine has carried out serious attacks on our energy security. An attack on energy safety is an attack on sovereignty. A war that Hungary has nothing to do with can never justify violating our sovereignty
