As early as 13 June 2025, ZUS will start making its first decisions on widow’s pension – a fresh benefit for people who lost their spouse. The maximum amount can scope as much as PLN 5636 gross per period and the benefit is due to both women and men. Will the widow's pension work backwards? What conditions must be met, how to apply?
