The renovation work began at the beginning of the holiday. The track will be replaced on Głogowska Street - on the section from Potocka Street to Hetmanska Street, along with part of the Głogowska-Hetmanska Node.
A deputy president of Poznań, Mariusz Wiśniewski, appeared at the site of the renovation.
"I checked the state of repair work of the tram track on Głogowska Street - on the section from Potocka Street to Hetmanska Street (with part of the Głogowska-Hetmanska junction)" - on social media. "Old, exploited rails have already been dismantled, the assembly of fresh ones ends, including the turnout. At the site of the damaged and uneven surface in the track, more durable concrete is created. There will besides be an extended tram halt (direction Górczyn). The works are carried out by MPK Poznań Sp. z o.o. The completion of the works is planned until the end of July. Trams will decision back on August 1" - added.
