Conservation works were completed at the NMT in the Palace of Culture and discipline building.
On 8 July 2025, an agreement was signed to carry out the task. Performing conservation works in selected premises at the Palace of Culture and discipline at the National Museum of Technology in Warsaw. The intent of the task was to preserve and improve the method condition and aesthetic historical interiors of the Palace of Culture and Science, respecting its historical character.
The scope of the work included in particular:
dismantling of existing exposure,
dismantling of unnecessary installation wires,
protection of floors with fibre board,
execution of maintenance and repair work for fireflies,
construction of maintenance works on stone elements,
execution of works on plaster and painted surfaces,
the execution of works on art,
agreeing on the colours of painting surfaces of walls, ceilings and stucco with the Capital Monument Maintenance with the participation of the NMT,
cleaning of metal-plastic elements, specified as radiators and ventilation grates.
The work began on 31 July 2025 and was completed on 24 November 2025.
The contractor of the works is ARCO-BUD Sp. z o.o.
The completion of conservation works in selected premises at the Palace of Culture and discipline was financed by the Ministry of discipline and Higher Education under the peculiar grant agreement No 3/NMT/DCZ/2025 of PLN 959,401,37.
