"Prime Minister Donald Tusk announces fresh Council of Ministers on Wednesday 23 July at 10:00 a.m" – announced in the latest post on platform X government spokesperson Adam Szpiek.
As we wrote in naTemat.pl, during the June Exposé in the Tusk Sejm announced the reconstruction of the government for July. It was originally expected to be "about 15 July". It was later moved at the request of Marshal Simon Holownia. It is intended not only to resign any ministers and to appoint others.
We'll meet the fresh Tusk government in a fewer days. What's gonna change?
– If I was dissatisfied with any of the ladies or gentlemen of the ministers, I would say goodbye and we would not proceed to work together. I want to be honest, but besides gentle. The reconstruction and the resulting personnel changes are not an indication of "the evil one", "that did not work out". This will be the consequence of a fresh government structure agreed jointly with the coalitions, which is to give chances for momentum and efficiency of action – explained the Prime Minister at 1 of the conferences.
More details were given by Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski during his last interview with Radio ZET. "I think that any ministers without a portfolio will complete their mission, any will most likely be moved to the rank of state secretaries in ministries, there will be changes in any staff ministries, and any ministries will be merged," said the Left politician.
There are besides plans to make larger resorts. Gawkowski said that "one very large will be liable for economical affairs, and the another for matters crucial to the country today, is definitely energy".
What about these changes in government do Poles think? The latest IBRiS poll for "Rzeczpospolita" shows that opinions are divided. all 4th asked (25.4%) believes that reconstruction "will help", and 5.9 percent that "will definitely help".
On the another hand, 37.8% of the respondents replied that "agreement will not help", and 21.5 percent believe that "it will not help". In total, 59.3% of Poles are skeptical of the planned reconstruction and its effects. Indecisive was 9.4 percent.
