The armed forces of Belarus and Myanmar want to intensify contacts. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence of Belarus following the conclusion of a gathering of the Belarusian delegation led by the Head of the Cooperation Department of the global Armed Forces of Belarus Walery Rawienko with his Myanmarn counterpart Kyaw Swar Lin.
“The parties summed up the results of the joint work in 2025 and agreed on a list of actions they plan to implement in the close future. As a consequence of the meeting, common interest was expressed in maintaining dialog and intensifying contacts in the field of military activity at all levels," says the Communication.
Rawienka besides discussed economical issues with Lieutenant General Zaw Myo Tin, serving as Quartermaster General of the Myanmar Armed Forces.
