On 3 April, Alaksandr Lukashenka convened a gathering of the safety Council, reported by his press service.

The gathering examined the situation in various areas of national safety — from military to economical — and discussed the threats of 2025 and the reactions to them. A study on the state of national safety and measures to strengthen it has besides been examined.

“We will gotta consider the results of the work done, the state of national safety in the past 2024 and, most importantly, measures to strengthen this security. Let me remind you that the evaluation procedure has been adjusted accordingly. This was reflected in the appropriate decree. Given the dynamics of the situation, socio-economic improvement priorities have been approved, indicators, thresholds, process actors and another issues have been identified," said Lukashenko.

At the meeting, the situation was first discussed in each of the 9 areas of national security: political, economic, technological and technical, social, demographic, biological, informational, military and environmental.

“These themes are included in the National safety Concept, which was approved by the decision of the People's National Assembly of Belarus,” said Lukashenko.

According to Lukashenko, the issues discussed at the safety Council gathering will be taken into account erstwhile preparing the message to the Belarusian people and the People's Assembly of the People's Party.

“I would like the present to focus on serious work. I would like to hear a real assessment of the situation straight from each of you. It's clear, they've objectively presented the problems we have. All the issues that will be discussed must be taken into account by preparing the President's message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly. It is very crucial to talk out, who disagrees with what, where there are inactive bottlenecks and, most importantly, what else needs to be done to solve problems," Lukashenko said.
